First official outing
There's lots to report on the car front. However, for the moment I'd just like to post a couple pictures of our car's first official outing. We drove it downtown to the semi-monthly breakfast of the local chapter of the Porsche Club of America. The only other time I attended this event was right after I bought the car, and all I was able to say was 'I've got a car, it doesn't run, but I've got one'. This time it felt great to be able to say 'Yeah, we built ourselves a beautiful car. It's right out front!' It was also fun taking it on a lovely drive in the sun, along the coast, with the wind in our hair... Just how I've been imagining for so long!

This was a fun first outing with the car. It's cool to see the amazement in people's faces when Mike tells them he restored everything himself. Most of these people just buy new, already working Porsches...but with good reason!
